Get ready for FXG’s new contracting standard to have portable VEDR Equipment installed in every rental vehicle.  Starting with Contracts that renew after July 31^st 2021, FXG is requiring all Rental Vehicles to include a Portable VEDR Device.  More information on the standard on MGB.

We are offering an easy to install Portable VEDR Package that can be rented on a monthly basis. V-Track Video’s Portable VEDR Package includes all the necessary equipment to temporarily mount and power the equipment in under 5 minutes. Moving the Portable VEDR Package from one vehicle to another is a simple process.  Easy to plug in OBD or cigarette lighter for power.

V-Track will take care of the reporting to FXG on Portable VEDR Compliance.  No Portable VEDR’s will count against the current KI’s.  All Portable VEDR Cameras and Events will be visible in V-Track alongside your current Fleet.

NOTE: Price shown above is for 1 month and is to be paid in full at the time of purchase (Credit Cards are not charged until shipping).  Each additional month beyond the initial rental period will be billed in advance at a rate of $70/month.

Rental Terms and Conditions (Please Read Carefully)

• The Rental term goes from the first day of every month to the last.
• If a device is ordered in the middle of the rental term, the first month will be prorated accordingly.
• All rentals need to be returned to Velocitor Solutions at your own risk/cost by the end of the rental term.
• If the equipment is not returned by the 5th of the month, the rental period will be extended automatically on a month-to-month basis for $70/month.
• Any Non-Velocitor owned equipment in the rental return shipment received by Velocitor will not be returned.
• Rental Devices are not to be transferred from ISP to ISP. If a rental is on transfer form, the transfer of rental will be denied and initial renter is still responsible for liability.   Please return rental devices to discontinue billing.

  • Camera marked or defaced; $50 cleaning fee applies. If markings can not be removed, $325 replacement fee applies, and camera will be shipped back at your expense.

1. You (the “RENTER”) shall keep and maintain the rented equipment during the term of the rental period at RENTER’S own cost and expense and shall keep the equipment in a good state of repair, normal wear and tear excepted.

2. The RENTER shall pay VELOCITOR full compensation for replacement of any equipment which is not returned because it is lost or stolen. VELOCITOR’s invoice for replacement is conclusive as to the amount RENTER shall pay under this paragraph for replacement.

3. The equipment shall be delivered to RENTER at the RENTER’s risk, cost, and expense. Upon receipt of the equipment by the RENTER, the rental period shall begin, and the rental rate shown is charged by VELOCITOR. Rental charges are billed to the RENTER for the full term of the selected rental period even if the equipment is returned before the end of the term.

4.  The equipment shall be delivered to RENTER and returned to VELOCITOR at the RENTER’s risk, cost and expense. The rental rate shown is charged by VELOCITOR upon shipment of the equipment for the entire rental period. Rental charges are billed to the RENTER for the full term even if the equipment is returned before the end of the term. If the equipment is not returned during or at the end of the term, then the rental charges shall continue on a month-to-month basis until the equipment is returned. If the equipment is not returned during or within 5 days following the end of the initial rental period, the rental period will be extended automatically on a month-to-month basis for $70/month. 

5. No allowance will be made for any rented equipment or portion thereof which is claimed not to have been used. Acceptance of returned equipment by VELOCITOR does not constitute a waiver of any of the rights VELOCITOR has under the rental agreement.

6. The RENTER shall not pledge or encumber the rented equipment in any way. VELOCITOR may terminate this agreement immediately upon the failure of RENTER to make rental payments when due, or upon RENTER’s filling for protection from creditors in any court of competent jurisdiction.

7. VELOCITOR makes no warranty of any kind regarding the rented equipment, except that VELOCITOR shall replace the equipment with identical or similar equipment if the equipment fails to operate in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications and operation instructions. Such replacement shall be made as soon as practicable after RENTER returns the non-conforming equipment. 

8. RENTER indemnifies and holds VELOCITOR harmless for all injuries or damage of any kind for repossession and for all consequential and special damages for any claimed breach of warranty.

9. The RENTER shall pay all reasonable attorney and other fees, the expenses and costs incurred by VELOCITOR in protection of VELOCITOR’s rights under this rental agreement and for any action taken by VELOCITOR to collect any amounts due VELOCITOR under this rental agreement.

10. These terms are accepted by the RENTER upon completion of the order for the rental equipment.
