Information Gathering
We receive and store any information you enter on our Web site store. Certain information is optional, whereas other information may be required to complete a purchase. We use the information that you provide for such purposes as completing a purchase, responding to your requests, and communicating with you.

You provide most such information when you purchase items on the store or when you communicate with our Support Center. For example, you provide information when you place an order through our store; provide information in Your Account; or communicate with us by phone, e-mail, or otherwise. As a result of those actions, you might supply us with such information as your name, address, email, and phone numbers; credit card information; or people to whom purchases are to be shipped, including addresses and phone number.

Other examples of the information we collect include the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; password; computer and connection information such as browser type, version, and time zone setting, browser plug-ins, operating system, and platform; products you’ve added to your cart and purchase history.

We may also use browser data such as cookies, or similar data on certain parts of our Web site for fraud prevention and other purposes. During some visits we may use software tools such as JavaScript to measure and collect session information, including page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), and methods used to browse away from the page. We may also collect technical information to help us identify your device for fraud prevention and diagnostic purposes.

Use of Cookies
Cookies are unique identifiers that we transfer to your computer to enable our store to recognize your computer and persist the storage of items in your Shopping Cart between visits.

The Help Module on most industry-standard browsers will tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie, or how to disable cookies altogether. Cookies allow you to take advantage of some of the Velocitor Store’s features, so we recommend that you leave them turned on.

Sharing of Information
Velocitor is not in the business of selling information to others. We share customer information only as necessary to support the features of our store and to serve you as a customer, as is further described in this Privacy Statement.

To facilitate the offerings in our store, we engage other companies to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include providing content for products offered, search results and links, carrier activations, and the processing of credit card or lease payments. Their access to personal information is strictly limited to only what is necessary to perform their functions.

We release customer and other personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law or protect the rights, property, or safety of Velocitor, our customers, etc. This may include exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction. However, this does not include selling, renting, sharing, or otherwise disclosing personally identifiable information from customers for commercial purposes in violation of the covenants set forth in this Privacy Statement.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, Velocitor will provide notice when information about you might go to third parties, and provide you with an opportunity to choose not to share the information.

Third Party providers that we may share your information with include nopCommerce, Authorize.Net, Google, River Capital Finance, and Intuit. Velocitor reserves the right to supplement this list with additional providers as needed and will post a revision to the Privacy Statement accordingly.

Information Security
Your data is stored on secure servers protected by firewalls and antivirus software. We take technical and organizational measures to protect the security and confidentiality of your data against any accidental loss and any unauthorized access, use, modification or disclosure.

Velocitor works to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input.

Even though we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing, we reveal only the last four digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order.

Third Party Links
Our store may include a limited number of third-party links to other Web sites. These links will typically be limited to respective manufacturers’ sites providing more details about the products being sold through our store. Velocitor reserves the right to include additional links as needed.

Access to Your Information
The Velocitor Store gives you access to information about your account and your transactions for the limited purpose of viewing and, in certain cases, updating that information.

Choices I Have
As discussed above, you can always choose not to provide information, even though it might be needed to make a purchase or to take advantage of certain store features such as Your Account and store purchases.

The Help module on most industry-standard browsers will tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie, or how to disable cookies altogether. Cookies allow you to take advantage of some of the store’s features, so we recommend that you leave them turned on. For instance, if you block or otherwise reject our cookies, you will not be able to add items to your Shopping Cart, proceed to Checkout, or use any store products and services that require you to Sign in.
